Pelion is one of the most beautiful areas of Greece and is an ideal holiday destination all year round.  The beaches are famous for its clear waters and beautiful surroundings, and many have been awarded with the Blue Flag. Pelion peninsula is ideally located, and as it is washed by the Aegean Sea on the east coast and the Pagasitic Gulf in the south, it offers the visitor many options for swimming on beautiful beaches. The distance between the beaches and the village of Kissos is about 40 minutes (the most remote beach) by car.  Starting from the northern part of eastern Pelion towards to south the beaches you will find are: Ovrios, Elitsa, Parisaina, Horefto, Agioi Saranta, Mpanika, Plaka, Papa Nero, Damouhari, Fakistra, Mylopotamos, Lymniona, Kalamaki.
